Just before 2 p.m. Thursday, the weather agency put out a weather bulletin stating that conditions were right for severe thunderstorms to form.
At around 4 p.m., the watch was lifted.
Chatham-Kent police reported a 44-year-old man driving a pickup truck was killed in the crash at Jeanettes Creek Road and Coutts Line around 6 p.m. Tuesday.
