LaSalle police identify body pulled from water

The LaSalle Police Service has identified the body pulled from the Detroit River on Sunday as a 34-year-old man.

The man’s name is not being released at this time.

According to Senior Constable Terry Seguin, at this point in the investigation, foul play is not suspected.

The body was found in the water along the eastern shore of Fighting Island near the LaSalle boat launch around 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
