Police looking for second suspect in homicide investigation

A man who was gravely injured in an assault in west Windsor on May 18 has now died.

The Windsor Police Service is now investigating the assault as a homicide.

The man was assaulted in the area of McEwan Avenue and Wyandotte Street West around 8 p.m. on May 18. He was taken to hospital where he later died of his injuries.  The victim, a 30-year-old man from Toronto, has not been identified.

Windsor police say one suspect, 25-year-old Prince Charles of Windsor, has been arrested and charged with the murder.

Officers continue to search for the second suspect in relation to the homicide.

The suspect was in possession of a handgun and knife during the incident and should be considered armed and dangerous. He is described as a Black man around 25-35 years old with short curly black hair. He's around 5'8" tall and weighs around 150 lbs.
