COVID-19 exposure alert issued for two local restaurants

If you visited Applebee's Huron Church Restaurant or Tabouli by Eddy's Restaurant last week you may have been exposed to COVID-19.

The Windsor Essex County Health Unit issued a possible COVID-19 exposure alert Wednesday afternoon.

The health unit is asking anyone who visited the restaurants on the specified dates to monitor themselves for symptoms.

Exposure was possible at Applebee's on November 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., November 21 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on November 22 from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Exposure at Tabouli on Lesperance Road was possible on November 17 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., November 21 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and November 22 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The potential exposure at these locations is considered low-risk.

Anyone with symptoms including cough, difficulty breathing, and a fever should be tested for COVID-19.
