GoFundMe for six children who lost their parents

Family and friends are gathering around a family of six children who tragically lost both of their parents on the same weekend.

Carmen and Adam Allen were remembered Saturday at a service at New Life Fellowship Church on Mercer Street in Windsor, one week after the couple died leaving behind their six children.

The children are all between the ages of four and 16-years.

Family friend Heather Hackney organized the GoFundMe campaign.

"Carmen and Adam Allen were suddenly taken from us," read the campaign. "They had six beautiful children together. The children have lost both of their parents. We want to assist with their everyday life and schooling."

The six are said to be living with a relative now.

So far, the family has not said what caused the couple's death.
