UPDATE: Windsor gas line repaired

Residents in a Windsor neighbourhood have been allowed to return home after a gas line was struck.

Windsor Fire and Rescue reported a gas line strike on Logan Avenue between McDougall Street and Howard Avenue shortly before 12:30 p.m. Friday.

Few details are available, but firefighters had evacuated the homes on the street as a precaution. Logan Avenue was closed in that area, though residents were allowed to return to their homes shortly after 3 p.m.

It was not immediately clear how the strike occurred. No injuries were reported.
