E.C Row rollover crash results in impaired driving charges

A 45-year-old Windsor woman faces charges after a rollover crash on the E.C. Row Expressway.

On Monday at around 9 p.m., the driver lost control of her vehicle near Banwell Road, crossed the median, and flipped several times. The grey Honda Civic came to rest off the road.

Police arrived and the driver was able to exit the vehicle safely, but soon after, the officers realized the woman was allegedly impaired by drugs.

She was also allegedly driving with a suspended license.

She was arrested and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The woman is charged with impaired driving and driving while under suspension.
