Charges laid after man threatened with handgun

A Windsor man is facing multiple charges after another man was threatened with what appeared to be a handgun.

Police were called to Pierre Avenue between University Avenue and Assumption Street around noon on Saturday. An adult male victim told police that he had been threatened with a handgun by someone he knew.

Officers contained a residence in the area and a suspect was arrested without incident. During a search of the home, police found what looked like a handgun, which turned out to be a pellet gun.

A 34-year-old Windsor man is facing charges of uttering threats and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace.
