Windsor police investigate Father's Day arson (VIDEO)

Windsor police are looking for a suspect who was seen on video setting fire to a parked car.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. on June 21, on Crawford Avenue near Erie Street West. Officers arrived on scene to find a vehicle with severe fire damage. Emergency services personnel had put the fire out before police arrived on scene, according to Constable Talya Natyshak.

The investigation revealed that someone set the fire on purpose, and an arson probe was launched. The Windsor police arson unit is actively investigating the incident and has asked the public for information.

A surveillance video, taken from a nearby security camera and seen below, shows a suspect running from the scene and the vehicle in flames. Residents are asked to look at the video.
