Windsor police are asking for help in two ongoing break-and-enter investigations.
The Property Crimes Unit is looking into a pair of burglaries that took place over the holiday season, and investigators believe the same person was involved in both.
The first took place at around 7:30 p.m. on December 28, 2019, on Stoneybrook Crescent near Southwood Lakes Boulevard. The second happened around 6:30 p.m. on January 3 on Riverside Drive East near St. Louis Avenue. Several items were taken during both incidents, according to Constable Talya Natyshak.
Police have released an image of the suspect taken from a security camera, and have asked the public to take a look. The man is believed to be white, with a slim to medium build, wearing blue jeans, a grey hoodie, and a dark-coloured "North Face" jacket.
Natyshak also said that the suspect might have been in the area of one of the burglaries for a period of 30 minutes, before breaking in.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone who may recognize the suspect, or with information on either break-and-enter, is asked to call Windsor police at (519) 255-6700, ext. 4350, or Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477).
