Pair of suspects sought in Essex Legion robbery (PHOTOS)

The Ontario Provincial Police are looking for help in identifying two people suspected in a break-and-enter.

OPP Constable Jim Root said it happened around 3 a.m. on Monday. Two people broke into the Royal Canadian Legion on Talbot Street North in Essex, causing severe damage to the interior. Some items were taken along with an undetermined amount of cash.

A dark-coloured SUV was seen in the area around the time of the incident.

The OPP has released screengrab photos of the suspects taken from the Legion's security cameras, shown below, and are asking the public to take a look. Investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have been in the area between 2:30 a.m. and 4 a.m. Monday, and who may have witnessed anything out of the ordinary.
