OPP Essex County are investigating an alleged assault on Manning Road in Tecumseh.
Members of the OPP Essex County responded to an assault report on Wednesday at around 4 p.m.
One person had serious injuries and was transported to hospital.
Manning Road between Essex County Road 42 and Highway 401 was temporarily closed and has since been re-opened.
Police said local residents can expect a police presence in the area as the investigation continues.
