Foam Fest may be coming to Windsor

A popular festival in London may be coming to Windsor next summer.

Foam Fest has been held in London for the past five years, but the company that operates it, 365 Sports, is expanding across Southwestern Ontario.

The event incorporates a five-kilometre run into a festival-like atmosphere.

In addition to foam, the route includes several one-of-a-kind obstacles to challenge both seasoned athletes and novice runners.

A report to Windsor City Councils said the set up is similar to Heartbreaker Challenge, which is held in May each year in Malden Park. Foam Fest would be in August.

City councillors will have the final say at its next meeting on January 6.
