Windsor police have arrested a second suspect in connection with an illegal firearm case dating back to August.

Members of its Drugs and Guns Unit (DIGS), along with the Emergency Services Unit and K-9 unit went to a home on August 16 at Josephine Avenue north of University Avenue West, looking for two suspects at the heart of an ongoing investigation into illegal firearms.

The first suspect was arrested in mid-September. Police said the second was arrested Wednesday in the area of Tecumseh Road East and Central Avenue.

Crystal Norris, 33, of Windsor, is facing four firearms-related charges. No outstanding suspects remain in this case, yet these charges have not been proven in court.
