It happened shortly after 1 p.m. Thursday. Police said two vehicles were involved and that minor injuries were reported.
The Lakeshore Fire Department and Essex-Windsor EMS assisted the OPP on scene.
No additional details have been provided. The OPP is asking drivers to avoid the area until the scene is cleaned up and the investigation is finished.
