Windsor police thank the community for helping to identify two suspects in a weekend stabbing.
Dash cam photos of the pair, suspected in the stabbing of a cab driver early Saturday morning, were released to the public on Monday. Windsor police Sergeant Steve Betteridge said Tuesday that numerous tips from the community were received and the suspects have been identified.
Police were called to the area of Wyandotte Street West and Sunset Avenue after the cab driver was stabbed.
Police said there was an argument between the driver and suspects over a fare.
The driver was treated in the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Charges have not been filed and the investigation is ongoing.
