Police said it happened over the noon hour on Monday at a bank near Grand Marais Road West and Dominion Boulevard.

The woman had just withdrawn money from the bank and was leaving when she was knocked down in the parking lot. The suspect grabbed her purse and fled.

She was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police soon identified the suspect, and along with the Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad found the man at a motel on Division Road.
