Express top the Edge 123-116

The Windsor Express defeated the St. John's Edge 123-116 at the WFCU Centre on Wednesday.

Windsor jumped out ahead to take a 10-point lead by the end of the first quarter, and held a 50-44 advantage heading into halftime. The Express continued to hold their own with an 86-71 lead at the end of the third frame, and ended the game with a seven-point advantage

Horace Wormely scored a game-high 27 points and 14 assists for Windsor. Tyrrel Tate also added 23 points and three rebounds, while Juan Pattillo and Ryan Anderson both put up 22 points.

The Express are on the road on February 28 to take on the Sudbury Five at 7 p.m.
