The LaSalle Police department is looking for the person responsible for stealing a salt spreader off a pickup truck.
Police say they received a report that the spreader was stolen from the truck while it was parked at a business in the east end of LaSalle sometime between January 31 and February 5.
The spreader itself forms a part of the entire salting device which is attached to the back of a pickup truck.
The salter is a Snow Ex brand, model number VMAXXG2 and is yellow in colour.
