Wolves bury Spitfires 4-1

The Windsor Spitfires fell 4-1 to the Sudbury Wolves in OHL action on Friday.

After a scoreless first period, the Wolves were first on the board with a goal early in the second. Sudbury extended their lead with another goal 7:40 into the third, but Tyler Angle scored for Windsor with just over 10 minutes left in the game to cut the lead in half.  However, the Wolves scored another two back-to-back goals in the second half of the frame to ensure their win.

The Wolves also outshot the Spitfires 46-23.

The Spitfires are on the road on Saturday to take on the Owen Sound Attack at 7:30 p.m.
