Police still trying to piece together fatal crash

Windsor police continue looking for witnesses to a collision that killed an elderly pedestrian in east Windsor in December.

The woman was struck by a car on Tecumseh Road at Banwell Road around 9:30 a.m. on December 18. She died in hospital on January 2.

"Through investigation, including review of video surveillance, officers believe there were several possible witnesses in the area at the time of the collision who have not spoken to police," police said in a statement issued Friday.

No charges have been laid yet.
