Spitfires goalie Dipietro wins another honour

Windsor Spitfires netminder Michael DiPietro has been named the Canadian Hockey League Goaltender of the Week.

The Vancouver Canucks prospect posted two wins and no losses last week along with a goals-against-average of 0.96 and a save percentage of .969.

DiPietro is playing in the CHL Canada Russia Series and made 18 saves to backstop Team OHL to a 3-1 victory Thursday night in Sarnia.

The 19-year-old from Amherstburg also helped the Spitfires extend their winning streak to four games by stopping 62 shots in two games.
