Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts and large hail.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected to intensify early this afternoon. Once the storms have intensified there is a risk of a brief tornado.

Windsor police say they are looking for a suspect after a shooting early Friday morning in downtown Windsor.
A man in his late 20s was shot around 1:45 a.m. near Ouellette Avenue and Maiden Lane.
Police have closed Ouellette Avenue between Park Street and Wyandotte Street while they investigate.  There is no word when that section of the road will reopen.
It is in the same area <a href="https://blackburnnews.com/windsor/windsor-news/2018/10/01/search-downtown-stabbing-suspect/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">two people were stabbed last weekend</a> during a large fight.
Police say the victim suffered life-threatening injuries and underwent surgery.  He is currently listed in critical condition in the hospital.
