Four arrested in Windsor police drug crackdown

Windsor police arrested four people on drug charges during a recent enforcement blitz.

Three men and a woman were charged as part of an enforcement blitz in and around downtown on Wednesday and Thursday.

Manuel Hernandez, 51, and 30-year-old Brittney Michos, both of Windsor, were arrested after suspicious activity at Wyandotte Street and Pelissier Street on Wednesday.

Justin Kaczmarski, 35, from Windsor was arrested at Glengarry Avenue and University Avenue on Thursday. Norman Couvillon, 55, from Windsor was also arrested on Thursday at Howard Avenue and Cataraqui Street, and is accused of dealing drugs at Wyandotte Street and Parent Avenue.

Police seized crack cocaine, cocaine, oxycodone tablets, marijuana, fentanyl, hydromorphone pills, methadone, cash, and an air pistol.

The allegations have not been proven in court.
