LaSalle Strawberry Fest Has Talent

If you have a talent you are willing to show off in front of a public audience; you might want to start working on your act.

The LaSalle Strawberry Festival has partnered with Rise 2 Fame Tough Talent Competition and will host an event during the perennial event on June 7.

There are two categories, ages 6-12, and 13-21.

The top three to five acts in each age group will advance to the finals, and a broader audience, at the Western Fair in London this September. The prize for the winning act is $1,500.

The LaSalle Strawberry Festival landed the first Youth and Junior Talent Search, which is held across Ontario, in 2018.

All acts are accepted so long as it is safe, family-friendly, and can be performed on a stage.

Performers have to register by Friday, June 1 by going online to the LaSalle Strawberry Festival's webpage.

The LaSalle Strawberry Festival runs from Thursday, June 7 to Sunday, June 10 at Gil Maure Park.
