Air Canada To Offer Direct Flights To Montreal

Air Canada is adding new domestic non-flight flights this summer, including direct flights between Windsor and Montreal.

The air carrier says the flights are timed to offer connections to Atlantic Canada, Europe, and Morocco.

"With the continued growth in the Southern Ontario market, we see the opportunity to add new non-stop services and provide additional convenient travel options to cities across Atlantic Canada, as well as several European destinations," said Air Canadaès President of Passenger Airlines Benjamin Smith, in a news release from the company.

"The addition of flights to London and Windsor strengthens Montreal's position as an international hub," said Philippe Rainville, president and CEO of Aeroports de Montreal.

The flights will be operated by Air Canada Express Jazz 50-seat Bombardier CRJ jets.
