One Dead In Tecumseh Industrial Accident

The Ontario Provincial Police confirm a 24-year-old man has died and another worker has been taken to hospital with minor injuries after an industrial accident in Tecumseh.

The OPP say it happened around 6:30am Thursday at Prestressed Systems Inc. on Walker Rd. north of Hwy. 401.

The company makes prestressed concrete structures.

The Ministry of Labour has inspectors and a ministry engineer on the scene to investigate the incident. A spokesperson says the investigation could take several days or even months. They are not releasing how the worker was injured other than to say he was working with a product when the accident occurred.
