Two Spitfires Looking For OHL Hardware

A couple of Spitfires have been nominated for three 2018 Ontario Hockey League (OHL) awards.

Trevor Letowski is up against six others for OHL Coach of the Year. He guided the Spitfires to 32 wins, 70 points and a sixth-place finish in the Western Conference in his first season as bench boss.

Michael DiPietro is up for Outstanding Goalie of the Year and Outstanding Player of the Year. The third-year star appeared in 56 regular season games, posting 29 wins to go along with a 2.79 goals against average and a .910 save percentage.

The winners will be announced prior to June 6.
