Harrow Man Wins OLG's BIG SPIN

A Harrow man says he plans to spend a $300,000 windfall wisely after being the latest to win a top prize with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission's BIG SPIN INSTANT game.

A good deed led to Christopher Ouellette's good fortune.

"I was taking care of my neighbour's dog while he was out of town. When the dog food ran out, I had to run to the store to pick up more," he says. "That's when I spotted four THE BIG SPIN tickets on the counter. I decided to buy all of them."

The 68-year-old father of five scratched the tickets there at the store and one was a winner.

He travelled to the OLG centre in Toronto to spin the big wheel and it landed on $300,000.

"My wife is very happy that we can finally start building a new house," he says.

The ticket was bought at the Stop N Go on King St. in Harrow.
