The town says council has approved 148 single detached homes that could be constructed this year in the River Ridge subdivision.
The municipality says that councillors have also approved a draft plan for the River Ridge Phase 7 subdivision that would see the eventual construction of 185 townhouse lots along the southern part of Oakwood by the Lakeshore Discovery and St. Anne’s schools.
