The province's police watchdog is investigating an arrest made by the Ontario Provincial Police in Leamington.
On January 25, 2018, the OPP responded to a disturbance call on Mill St. E in Leamington.
According to a release from the OPP, officers had an "interaction" with a male and took him into custody.
The Special Investigations Unit has invoked its mandate in the case. No other details are available at this time however the SIU invokes its mandate in circumstances where death, serious injury or allegations of sexual assault occur.
