Protesters Target Tim Hortons Again

If you pick up a coffee at the Tim Hortons on University Ave. between Bruce Ave. and Janette Ave. in Windsor, it may take a little longer.

The group Fight For $15 And Fairness is holding protests in 50 cities across Canada, including Windsor.

The local protest starts at 11am.

It is the second protest at Tim Hortons since news broke that some franchise owners have cut some worker benefits and paid breaks. Owners say it is to make up for losses because of an increase in the minimum wage to $14.

Earlier this month, protesters gathered at the Tim Hortons on Park St. E and Goyeau St.
