Essex County OPP arrested and charged two individuals for impaired driving over the weekend.
Around 1am on Sunday, OPP in Lakeshore responded to an erratic driving complaint that started in Chatham. Police located the Ford pick-up on County Rd. 42 travelling west from Chatham. The vehicle was stopped and the driver showed signs of impairment.
A 46-year-old from Tecumseh was charged with impaired driving. His license was suspended and the vehicle impounded.
Around 2am on Sunday, OPP in Leamington stopped a black Dodge pick-up truck on Malborough St. The driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested. A 43-year-old from Leamington is facing impaired driving charges. His license was suspended and the vehicle impounded.
Both suspects will appear in court at a later date
