Spitfires Issue Traffic Advisory

If you're heading to the Windsor Spitfires game Saturday night you may run into a lot of traffic.

The team is expecting a full parking lot because there is a tournament going on at the WFCU Centre throughout the day.

They recommend fans park in the free overflow parking lot, the former Lear lot, with the entrance off Lauzon Rd.

There are also many free shuttles from restaurants in the area or Transit Windsor's service from Tecumseh Mall.

“The best bet is to park for FREE in the new overflow lot or to grab a shuttle,” says Spitfires spokesman, Steve Horne. “Between the tournament during the day and the crowd we're anticipating at our game, there will be a lot of activity around the building. The overflow parking and shuttle services are designed to provide our fans maximum convenience and the start of a great game day experience.”

The Windsor Spitfires take on the Kitchener Rangers on Saturday at 7:00pm.
