A Windsor man is facing child pornography charges after allegedly uploading child pornography on social media.
The investigation began in August, when the National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre contacted Windsor police about the upload. Windsor investigators were granted permission from the courts to review records related to the suspect's internet address. They were also granted a search warrant for the person's home.
On Thursday police arrested a 42-year-old man at a business in LaSalle. He is charged with accessing, possessing and distributing child pornography.
The search warrant was conducted at a house on Campbell Ave. A number of electronic devices were seized.
