Flood Garbage Collection Complete

The City of Windsor has completed its collection of flood damaged material.

Collection crews, including trucks from across Ontario, have completed two full passes throughout the city.

The city says there may have been houses missed along the way. If home owners still have flood damaged goods they should contact 311 before October 6, 2017.

Along with the end of citywide flood collection, the use of the temporary site on Walker road will end soon as well. Material collected this weekend was all taken to the regular depot on Central Ave.

Yard waste collection will resume on its regular schedule starting in October.
