OPP Looking To Identify Victim In Fatal Crash

Essex County Ontario Provincial Police is looking to identify a man killed in a collision involving an E-bike in Kingsville.

Around 12:30am Friday morning, the OPP responded to the collision on Essex County Rd. 31 near Concession 6 E.

Police say a black Chevrolet pickup truck and the E-bike collided as they were both travelling southbound on County Rd. 31.

The man on the E-bike succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the collision.

The deceased is believed to be an area migrant worker, and has yet to be identified.

Essex County Rd. 31 between Concession 5 E and Concession 6 E was closed for several hours as the OPP investigated.
