A 25-year-old male is missing after his canoe capsized in Lake Erie near the town of Kingsville.
The man was fishing alone near Essex County Road 45 when his friends on shore observed the canoe capsize. The man is believed to be a non-swimmer and was not wearing a life jacket.
The OPP marine unit, Kingsville Fire Department, EMS and RCC Trenton began searching for the man around 5:00 pm Sunday.
The search is ongoing.
