Express Fall To Riptide 117-103

The Saint John Riptide snapped a six-game winning streak for the Express with a 117-103 victory over Windsor on Wednesday.

The Riptide took a ten point lead in the first quarter and extended it to a 53-38 advantage going into halftime.

The Express were able to take a 68-65 advantage with 3:12 left in the third frame, but Saint John came back to retake the lead by one point going into the fourth. The Riptide remained ahead in the final quarter to win with 14 point lead.

Wally Ellenson led the Express with 24 points and two rebounds.

The Express will now head to Charlottetown PEI to take on the Island Storm on Thursday at 6pm.
