Date Set For Re-Opened Veteran's Affairs Office

Veteran's Affairs Canada has set a date to reopen Windsor's office.

The new location on the sixth floor at 1 Riverside Dr. W will open its doors April 21.

Last August, Veteran Affairs Minister Kent Hehr told reporters the office would employ 17 workers.

Thousands of veterans in Windsor-Essex were forced to travel to London for face-to-face service after the original office closed in January 2014.
