Fire crews in Tecumseh handled an incident Sunday afternoon at a condominium tower.
The incident took place at the building located at 250 Manning Rd. Crews responded to a report of smoke in the building. It was determined that the smoke was caused by a small fire begun by careless cooking.
There were no reports of injuries, and there was no estimate readily available of any damage.
The condominium is located in an area of Tecumseh that is seeing aggressive development. Nearby, the former Lakewood Golf Course has been transformed into a large park, with new homes being built on its southern edge.
