Man Facing Animal Cruelty Charge

A Windsor man is facing an animal cruelty charge after allegedly striking his dog with a metal object.

On November 30, Windsor police were called to a home on Cameron Ave. after someone witnessed the man yelling and striking the dog.

The dog appeared to have sustained minor injuries and was taken to a veterinarian for an assessment.

The 25-year-old man has been charged with causing unnecessary pain, suffering or injury to an animal.
