Two Pedestrians Hit in Windsor Crash

Investigators are probing a pedestrian-vehicle crash Sunday night on Windsor's west side.

It happened around 6:15pm on Wyandotte St. West near Wellington.  Police and witnesses say two pedestrians were hit in what appeared to be two separate collisions and one person was transported to hospital with no word on their condition.

Police say a driver had an apparent medical emergency and lost control of the vehicle.  Two females, a woman and her child, were struck at the intersection and the vehicle came to rest outside a home in the 500 block of Wellington, damaging several parked vehicles in the process.

The intersection was closed by police so officers could determine what happened and interview witnesses.  The intersection was reopened to traffic just before 7:30pm.

The investigation is ongoing.
