Caesars Windsor Shows Off Renovations

Nearly six months after it announced it was going to renovate the top floor of its Augustus Tower, Caesars Windsor if showing off the new August 27.

That's the name of the latest meeting space on the 27th floor of the Augustus Tower.

"We were on schedule so our timing, it works well to have it completed for some holiday parties," says Susanne Tomkins, public relations and communications relations specialist at Caesars Windsor. "The room has been booked for about a half dozen events between now and the end of the year. We are booking into 2017, as well."

Tomkins says the room provides a panoramic view of the Detroit skyline with floor to ceiling windows.

"It's the tallest building in Windsor's skyline. This room really is the only room in our city that can show this view," Tomkins says.

The space offers room for more informal mingling and can provide seating for more formal dining. It also has its own menu.

The renovations cost just under $2-million and were approved by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.
