The Windsor-Essex County Humane Society is extending its Black Friday sale to all animals this year.
Previously the sale, which slashes adoption and administration fees, was limited to black animals only.
Executive Director Melanie Coulter says they're hoping to clear the shelter in preparation for renovations of the building.
"The more animals we can get into homes and clear out those spaces, that will allow our construction projects to move ahead," says Coulter.

Construction will see new floors and a new commercial washer installed, as well as upgrading the cat shelters. The work is expected to take two to three weeks, and is expected to ramp up this weekend.
Coulter says the shelter will still be open during construction, but asks people to hold off on surrendering animals to the humane society during the work if possible.
"When it's an optional situation where someone is looking to surrender, if there's an option to delay we've been asking people to do that," says Coulter.
The Black Friday sale will also see the sale of plush toys of Justice — the dog which reached celebrity status after being found bound and abandoned in Windsor before being nursed back to health an adopted to a new home.
"It gives a lot of people an opportunity to take a memory of him home and in the process help with funding cruelty investigations to make sure we can continue to be there for animals like Justice," says Coulter .
The humane society is open from 11am to 8pm on Friday.
