Unionized Workers At Integram Prepare For Strike

About 1,000 workers at Integram Seating in Windsor are set to walk off the job if their union and the company can't reach a tentative deal.

Picket signs are assembled and strike duty assigned in the event there is no deal by 11:59pm Thursday.

Unionized workers at the Windsor plant are represented by Unifor Local 444.

A strike at Integram Seating will be felt beyond the one plant. Production at Fiat-Chrysler's Windsor Assembly Plant, where 6,000 employees just recently ratified their new collective agreement, will be affected within hours. Another customer is General Motor's Cami Plant in Ingersol.

The plant makes seats and foam buns for the auto industry.
