Damage is estimated at around $170,000 following a house fire in Amherstburg.
The Amherstburg Fire Department attended the home on Malden Hill Dr. at around 5pm on Thursday, and were able to get the blaze under control quickly.
Fire officials say one person suffered minor injuries and was with examined by paramedics at the scene.
Damage to the home is pegged at $150,000, while heat damage to a home next door is estimated at around $20,000.
The blaze reportedly started near a barbecue on an exterior deck, however, fire officials say there does not appear to have been an explosion.
A fire investigator has attended the scene.
