As of June 1, former Windsor Mayor Eddie Francis will have a new job at the WFCU Credit Union, president.

Current WFCU Credit Union President and Chief Executive Officer, Marty Komsa plans to step down as president but will remain the CEO.

"As strong and committed leaders, both Marty and Eddie will continue to support the Board of Directors and ensure the credit union's goals and objectives are achieved and exceeded," says board chair Marty Gillis.

Over three decades with the credit union, Komsa's leadership has enabled it to grow from $36-million in assets to over $2.4-billion in managed assets.

Francis joined the WFCU Credit Union in December 2014 after three terms as Mayor of the City of Windsor.
