Two Men Attempt To Lure Children

Windsor police are on the lookout for two men who tried to lure children into their car near Queen Victoria Public School.

At around 6pm on Sunday, police were informed about a white car that stopped at the school's park in the 1300-block of Victoria Ave.

They say the men told the kids to get inside, but the two men drove off when they saw a nearby parent.

The suspects were last seen on Ellis St. W heading toward Ouellette Ave. Officers searched the area, but didn't find the white car.

Police don't have a good description of the car or the men.

Windsor police are reminding parents to tell their kids to never go with strangers or take things from unknown people. Also, they recommend you tell them about "safe strangers" such as police officers, paramedics, firefighters and sales staff behind the county.

Anyone with information is asked to call Windsor police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4305 or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
