Minivan Crashes Into Windsor Home

Two homes had to be evacuated after a minivan crashed into house on Dougall Ave. in Windsor.

Police and firefighters responded to the crash at 555 Dougall Ave. around 6:30pm on Sunday.

Fire officials say the crash caused a gas leak which prompted the evacuation. Union Gas has attended the scene to address the leak.

No one was injured in the crash.

It is unknown if any charges will be laid at this time.

Police closed Wyandotte St. W between Victoria Ave. and Caron Ave., as well as the 500-block of Dougall Ave. while emergency crews were at the scene. The roads have since been reopened.
